How is football represented in the United Kingdom? How England football fans represented?

Football in the United Kingdom is organised on a separate basis in each of the four countries of the United Kingdom, with each having a national football association responsible for the overall management of football within their respective country. Each of the countries of the United Kingdom, are sometimes referred to as the home nations. English fans are represented by their players. England fans are very respective and very good fans for their country.

Why was this advert banned?

Drenched in blood-red paint and screaming a war-cry, the image of Wayne Rooney was condemned as 'offensive', 'exploitative' and 'tacky'. Nike campaign provoked fierce condemnation. 'The red paint is not meant to be blood, it's just echoing the body paint which fans cover themselves in and the rest of Wayne's body is painted white. It's the flag of St George. It was banned because of using the color red representing blood and also how Wayne Rooney has this fearful look about him.

What ideologies are represented? Why did Nike select this image?

Nike selected this image so it would make England fans think that it when we go to a big tournament other teams are scared of us and that we are a big threat. They used the colour red so it stands out and it and it shows fear. They also selected this picture so that fans could get the same painting done on their face and try to act like Rooney.

For My  research I have chosen brief 1, I have looked at logos of some television channels that broadcast programmes which are aimed towards the teenagers and adults target audience which is similar to E4

The logo I have chosen is Dave, the channel is owned by UKTV which is available in the United Kingdom and Ireland. It is available on Freeview and cable. Dave is known as "The home of the witty banter it shows Only Fools and Horses, top gear and many more. Dave is a successful channel as it averages 3 million viewers per day

Another logo I looked at was Sony. Sony is also a worldwide company and the logo well known to people. They make TVs to consoles and many other goods.  The font and style of the letters are simple. This means that it doesn't have to look good to work well with branding.
